Wearing My Underwear Over My Pants #MFRWAuthor

My Greatest Strength

It’s a superhero thing, wearing your underwear over your pants. I don’t have a cape because it gets in the way of my particular talent.

I’m Resilienta, minor goddess of Bouncing Back. You know that drinking song, “I get knocked down, but I get up again”?  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2H5uWRjFsGc

That’s me. I might even be missing a front tooth, but damn it, I don’t stay down.

Rejections from agents or publishers? I fall into a vat of toxic chocolate ice cream and come out more determined than ever. I view the rubble of my bombed query letters and find out what went wrong.

Once that’s done? I resubmit. Six books into my author career, I’d say I’m doing something right.

Great title. And second the get back up philosophy. Now just to practice it.

Another vote for persistence as crucial! Let’s face it, if a person isn’t persistent, they’ll never get past chapter one.

Fun post. Great photo. Is about bouncing back, dusting off, learning from the pain and moving on.

You’ve got to be tenacious and have a source for cheaply priced chocolate in this business. Great post!

I once heard, “Failure is getting knocked down and staying down. Success is getting back up.”

    I prefer to be a success…..;)
